FAQ Section

Why use 24 teeth for a 1″ drive ratchet? In 1″ drive applications, you are moving massive bolts that require extreme force. 24 teeth are much larger and deeper than the teeth in a 72-tooth ratchet. This makes the gear much stronger and prevents the teeth from breaking when you apply several hundred foot-pounds of torque.

Is the knurled handle better than a rubber grip? For heavy industrial work, yes. Rubber handles can slip or tear when covered in heavy oil. The 8120N all-steel knurled handle gives you a permanent, high-friction grip that won’t degrade, even if it’s exposed to harsh chemicals every day.

Can this handle be used with impact sockets? Yes. You can use any standard 1″ drive sockets (hand or impact) with this ratchet. However, remember that this is a manual hand tool; do not use it as a striking tool or with a “cheater pipe” that exceeds the structural limits of the 1″ drive anvil.
