- Why choose the “C” series steel handle over a rubber grip? Professional mechanics often prefer the 3700C because it is “indestructible.” Unlike rubber or plastic, the contoured steel handle will not degrade when exposed to harsh solvents, fuel, or extreme heat.
- Is this better than using a ratchet for breaking bolts? Yes. A ratchet has internal gear teeth that can strip under extreme force. The 3700C is a solid-state bar designed specifically to handle the “break-away” torque that would damage a standard ratchet.
