Feature
How does a 1:16 gear ratio help with truck wheel nuts? Truck wheel nuts are often tightened to 600 Nm or more and can get stuck. A 1:16 ratio means that for every 1 kg of force you put into the handle, the tool puts 16 kg of force onto the nut. It makes loosening a seized bolt as easy as turning a normal screw.
Why are the gears made of Chrome-Molybdenum (Cr-Mo)? At 16,000 lb·in of torque, standard steel would snap. Cr-Mo is an elite industrial alloy that is much tougher and can bend slightly under pressure without breaking. It is the “Absolute” material for heavy-duty gears.
Does this set include sockets? Yes. The 66193-16 is a 7-piece set, which includes the multiplier, handles, and usually the two most common truck socket sizes (32mm and 33mm) made of impact-grade Chrome-Moly, so you can start working immediately.
