Feature

Why doesn’t this tool use an S2 steel insert? In 3/4″ drive applications, the torque levels are so high that a two-piece design (bit + socket) can actually be a weakness. By forging the 6016 from one solid piece of Chrome Vanadium, we ensure there is no joint that can fail or wobble, providing maximum safety for heavy industrial work.

What is the benefit of the 155mm (6016-4) version? The 155mm version is essential for reaching hex-head bolts that are hidden deep inside industrial gearboxes or sub-assemblies. The solid one-piece Cr-V construction ensures that even at this length, the tool remains rigid and does not “twist” under load.

Is this socket impact-rated? No. The 6016 series is a Chrome Vanadium hand tool set designed for use with ratchets and breaker bars. For use with pneumatic impact wrenches, you should use the Hans black-phosphate impact series.
