Feature

FAQ Section

How do I change the drive direction? The 4100 series features a Switch Lever located on the back of the ratchet head. Simply flip the lever to the left or right to change between tightening and loosening. This can be done easily with your thumb while holding the tool.

Why is there no Quick-Release button on these models? These specific models utilize a Fixed Tang with a friction-ball retainer. This is a traditional professional design preferred by many technicians for its simplicity and the very secure “friction-fit” it provides for sockets during heavy-duty use.

Is the 36 teeth gear better for high torque? Yes. With 36 teeth, each tooth is larger and thicker than those in a 72-teeth ratchet. This makes the gear much more resistant to stripping or breaking when you are applying the high force levels typical of 1/2″ drive work.
