Why 36 teeth instead of a higher count? In 1/2″ drive work, you are often pulling high torque. Having 36 teeth means each tooth is larger and stronger. This ensures the gear won’t slip or strip when applying maximum manual force to large bolts.
What is the benefit of the Quick-Release button? The Quick-Release (QR) mechanism uses a spring-loaded ball to lock the socket onto the drive tang. This ensures the socket stays attached until you press the button, preventing it from being left behind on a fastener.
