Technical FAQ: 2027M vs. 3027M

  • What is the difference between 2027M and 3027M?
    • 2027M: 1/4″ Drive. Optimized for low-torque, high-precision tasks in extremely tight spaces.
    • 3027M: 3/8″ Drive. Designed for medium-torque applications with a larger drive interface for general mechanical use.
  • Can I use the wobble bit for final tightening? While the wobble head is strong, it is designed for access. For the final “snap” of high-torque tightening, it is recommended to keep the tool as straight as possible to maximize surface contact between the ball-head and the fastener.
  • Is it better than a universal joint? Yes, for hex fasteners. A universal joint adds “bulk” and can be unstable. The 2027M provides a much more direct and stable “fluid” feel when turning at an angle.
  • Can I use this with a 1/4″ Drive Ratchet Handle? Yes. It is fully compatible with all Hans 1/4″ drive Ratchet Handles, extensions, and spinners.
