Feature

  • Can I use the 6805 with a 1″ Impact Socket? You can attach a 1″ impact socket, but the 6805 is a Chrome Vanadium (Cr-V) hand-tool adaptor. It is not designed for the percussive vibration of a 1″ pneumatic impact wrench. For power tool use, refer to the Hans 86805 (Cr-Mo) series.

  • Why is the 6804 (Step-Down) useful? It allows you to use 3/4″ drive accessories (like long extension bars or sliding T-handles) with your existing 1/2″ socket inventory, providing more reach and torque options without buying new sockets.

  • What is the torque risk with the 6804? Because you are using a 3/4″ drive handle (high torque) on a 1/2″ drive male end (lower torque capacity), care must be taken not to shear the 1/2″ drive tang by applying excessive force.

  • How does the finish prevent rust? The mirror polish is a high-density chrome plating that prevents oil and moisture from reaching the forged steel core, maintaining dimensional accuracy for decades.
