Why choose a 24-teeth ratchet over a 72-teeth version? The 3120 series 24-teeth gear is designed for strength. Because the teeth are larger and deeper, they can withstand much higher “breakout” torque without stripping. This makes it a safer, more durable choice for heavy-duty industrial work.
What is the benefit of the “Quick Release” (Q) button? The Quick Release button mechanically locks the socket onto the drive anvil. This prevents the socket from falling off in tight engine bays or sensitive machinery—a common risk with standard friction-ball ratchets.
