The bit is crafted from high-rigidity S2 tool steel to resist twisting and wearing inside the bolt head, while the base is forged from high-impact Chrome Vanadium (Cr-V) steel to manage high mechanical loads from ratchets and breaker bars smoothly.
Can these 100mm long bit sockets be used with pneumatic impact guns?
No. The 3026-4 long series is explicitly a hand tool asset designed for manual ratchets, sliding T-handles, and torque wrenches. Attempting to use high-vibration pneumatic or cordless impact guns on extended 100mm bits can cause structural failure or shatter the S2 tool steel bit due to the intense percussive shock waves.
