• Solid-Core Non-Quick Release Anvil: The absence of a quick-release core channel leaves the 1/4″ drive anvil as a solid block of drop-forged steel. Sockets are retained via a premium friction-ball system. This ensures the square drive will not shear under intense manual loading and prevents sockets from releasing prematurely if the back of the ratchet head accidentally bumps against an obstruction.
• Heavy-Duty 36-Tooth Gear Architecture: Fine-tooth gears (such as 72 or 90 teeth) must use micro-milled tooth spacing, making them prone to slipping or stripping under extreme stress. The Hans 36-tooth configuration increases the physical mass and contact surface area of each tooth engagement, allowing the 1/4″ mechanism to withstand unexpected break-away torque levels safely.
