- Why is the Sliding T-Handle included instead of a ratchet? The T-handle is significantly more durable for “breaking” stubborn bolts. It also allows for balanced, two-handed rotation, which is faster for long-threaded fasteners than a standard ratchet.
- When should I choose the 46149-2 (12-point) version? Choose the 12-point version if you frequently work in tight spaces where you only have a small “window” to turn the tool. The 12-point geometry allows the socket to drop onto the fastener twice as easily as a 6-point.
