What is the benefit of S2 steel in the 4030 series? S2 alloy steel is significantly harder and more shock-resistant than standard Chrome Vanadium. It allows the star bit to maintain its shape even when removing rusted or over-tightened fasteners.
Is this socket safe for use with impact wrenches? No. The 4030 is a chrome-finished manual tool. For impact use, you should choose the Hans black-finish impact star series made from Chrome Molybdenum (Cr-Mo).
