Feature
What is the advantage of an integrated universal joint? A separate universal joint adapter adds length and “wobble” to your tool. The 1020M has the joint built directly into the handle, which makes the tool much more stable and compact. It allows you to reach into tight spaces and spin bolts at an angle with much more control.
Is this tool strong enough to break loose seized bolts? While the 1020M is built from high-strength Chrome Vanadium, T-wrenches with universal joints are designed primarily for speed and access. For extremely high-torque “breakout” tasks on seized bolts, we recommend using a Hans breaker bar or flex handle first, then switching to the 1020M for fast removal.
What is the maximum angle the head can reach? The 1020M swivel head can operate effectively at angles up to approximately 45 degrees. This is the ideal range for reaching around engine components while still being able to spin the handle efficiently.
