Which model do I need for a standard passenger car? The OFW-A8 (60-80mm) is the most common size for passenger cars. For larger SUVs or light trucks, the OFW-A12 (80-115mm) is usually required.
Can I use these for both loosening and tightening? Yes. The OFW-A series features Two-Way gear logic, meaning the legs will grip and tighten in both directions, allowing for full-cycle service.
What is the benefit of having three separate models instead of one big one? By having a narrower range (like the 60-80mm), the legs sit at a more efficient angle against the filter, providing a much stronger “bite” and reducing the chance of the tool slipping or crushing the canister.
