Feature
- Why do I need the “Angle” function? Many modern engine bolts (Cylinder heads, connecting rods) are designed to be stretched. These are called “stretch bolts.” You cannot measure stretch with torque alone; you must use degrees of rotation. This adaptor makes that process digital and easy.
- Does this replace my torque wrench? It turns any standard 1/2″ ratchet or breaker bar into a digital torque and angle wrench. It is a cost-effective and space-saving alternative to buying a dedicated electronic torque wrench.
- Can I use this for “Audit” work? Yes. In “Peak” mode, the device will show you exactly how much torque was applied to a bolt, allowing for quality control checks in industrial assembly.
- How do I reset the angle to zero? The device features a “Zero-Set” button. Once you reach your initial torque, you press the button to start the angle count from $0^\circ$.
