• Is this more accurate than a click-type torque wrench? Generally, yes. While a good click wrench is ±4%, the Digi-Torc Adaptor is rated at ±2%. It also removes the “human error” of not hearing the click in a loud factory environment.
• Can I use this with an Impact Wrench? NO. Electronic sensors are sensitive to high-frequency vibration. This tool is for manual use with ratchets or breaker bars only.
• How do I know when to calibrate it? Like all precision torque tools, we recommend professional calibration once a year or every 5,000 cycles for industrial use.
• Does it come with a case? Yes, each Hans Digi-Torc unit is supplied in a high-impact protective blow-case to ensure the sensor stays calibrated during transport.
