3030 Series is built for mission-critical mechanical service:
- Star Plus (Torx Plus®) IP Profile: The defining professional feature. The IP geometry features flatter drive lobes that create a 0° drive angle. This eliminates the radial “spreading” forces that occur with standard 15° Star bits, allowing for 25% to 100% higher torque depending on the fastener size.
- Two-Piece Press-Fit Construction: The bit is forged from Premium S2 Alloy Steel, heat-treated for maximum hardness and torsional resilience. It is permanently press-fitted into a Chrome Vanadium (Cr-V) socket base, ensuring a rigid, zero-flex connection for the 3/8″ drive.
- An-Lock Drive® Compatibility: Every 3030 socket base is precision-machined to integrate with An-Lock Drive® systems, providing a secure, high-torque lock on ratchets and extension bars.
- Comprehensive IP Range: Available in individual sizes including 10IP, 15IP, 20IP, 25IP, 27IP, 30IP, 40IP, 45IP, 50IP, 55IP, and 60IP.
- Precision Surface Finish: Features an industrial-grade polished chrome finish on the socket base for corrosion resistance, and a black phosphate or sandblasted finish on the S2 bit to ensure maximum friction and grip within the fastener head.
