Feature

Does this tool damage the threads of the bolt inside? When used correctly, no. The Two-Bit design allows you to stop the pressure once the nut fractures. Because the bits are focused on the nut flats, the internal bolt threads remain protected.
Why is it called a “Nut Grabber”? When a nut is so rounded that a socket spins freely, the 1902 can be tightened onto the nut to “grab” it. Once the bits have bitten into the metal, you can use the body of the tool to turn and extract the nut.
What makes the “Two-Bit” version better than a single-blade splitter? A single blade pushes the bolt against the opposite side of the tool frame, which can bend the bolt. The Two-Bit 1902 hits the nut from both sides, neutralizing the side-load.
How do I maintain the cutting bits? After removing a seized nut, check the bits for metal shavings. Keep the drive screw well-lubricated with high-pressure grease to ensure smooth operation and maximum force delivery.
