25° Ball Point Entry: The spherical hex tip is precision-milled to allow a 25-degree tilt. This allows the user to rotate fasteners in “blind” or cramped spaces without perfect vertical alignment.
S2 Tool Steel Metallurgy: Unlike standard Cr-V keys, Hans utilizes S2 Steel (hardened to HRC 58-62). This provides the extreme hardness required to prevent “rounding” of the hex tips under high-torque manual loads.

What is the benefit of the Ball Point end? It allows you to turn a screw even if you cannot get the wrench perfectly straight. You can tilt the wrench up to 25° and still maintain a secure grip.
Why is S2 steel better for hex keys? Hex keys are thin; standard steel can twist and “snap back.” S2 steel is stiffer and harder, ensuring the energy you put into the handle goes directly into the bolt.
Is this the longest version available? Yes, the 1772 series is the “Extra-Long Arm” version, providing more reach and torque than the standard 1672 series.
