Smaller star fasteners (T10 to T30) are easily managed using a standard 3/8″ drive ratchet, while massive fasteners (T40 to T60) often require the immense breaking leverage of a 1/2″ drive breaker bar or high-capacity manual torque wrench. Having both adapter sockets allows you to swap the entire 10mm hex bit run between both drive sizes seamlessly.

Can these bits be used directly with standard cordless impact drivers? The bits feature a heavy 10mm hex shank base designed to seat perfectly into the included 3/8″ and 1/2″ square drive adapter sockets for manual hand tools. If your cordless driver or impact gun uses a smaller 1/4″ quick-change chuck, these 10mm industrial bits will not fit directly into it without a separate 10mm hex chuck adapter.
