1849V 45° Plastic Cutting Plier is a flush-cutting plier with blades offset from the handle center by approximately 45°. This angle allows operators to cut plastic sprues, gates and runners flush with the part surface while keeping a natural hand position. It is designed specifically for plastic injection molding work and is not intended for twisting, holding or cutting metal objects

45° offset cutting blades
Blade is offset from the handle center by about 45°, allowing close, flush cuts along flat surfaces or mold faces without the handle interfering.
Flush cutting for plastic sprues & gates
Designed to cut plastic injection mold sprues, gates and other plastic projections as flush as possible to the surface, helping reduce secondary trimming.
Plastic-only application
The cutting geometry and hardness are optimized for plastic. The plier is not suitable for twisting, gripping or cutting metal, to avoid edge damage.
Compact 6″ length
Overall length 150 mm (6″) gives good access in confined areas around molds, jigs and fixtures, while still offering comfortable leverage.
Lightweight for repetitive work
At about 150 g, the tool is light enough for repetitive cutting operations on production lines.
