EDIRT is a professional-grade Diesel Injector Copper Washer Puller engineered to extract the copper sealing washers located at the base of the fuel injector port. In modern high-pressure common rail (HPCR) engines, these washers frequently become fused to the cylinder head due to carbon buildup (black death). The EDIRT features a specialized 7 mm tapered tip that is inserted into the washer’s inner hole; as the tool is tightened, the tip expands to provide a high-friction grip. With a 230 mm reach, this tool is essential for accessing deep-seated injectors in multi-valve diesel engines.
